British Interplanetary Society Events

BIS holds Lectures and Meetings at it's premises, usually in the Conference Room at 27/29 South Lambeth Road, London SW8 1SZ, and at other locations. BIS also runs Symposia at different locations. Please see our What's On listing for details of all events being held. This is constantly being updated so please do check back regularly.

Members are cordially invited to attend the Society's lectures free of charge. Places must be booked in advance and this can be done Online or by Post. Each member may also obtain a free ticket for one guest subject to availability of space.

Non Members are able to attend the Society's lectures for a fee of £5.00 to cover administration costs. You can order a ticket Online or by Post (please make cheques payable to the British Interplanetary Society).

If applying by post please send an sae (stamped addressed envelope) for receipt of tickets to: British Interplanetary Society, 27/29 South Lambeth Road, London SW8 1SZ.

There are a limited number of places for evening lecture and if oversubscribed Society members will be given priority.

If, for reasons outside its control, the Society is required to change the date or topic of a meeting, every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience to members either by notice of change in Spaceflight/JBIS or by special advice to each participant.

Please, therefore, always re-check the scheduled meetings in the latest issue of Spaceflight or on the website.

For information on other Space related events please see the Diary Notices section.
