The Society accepts payment by these credit and debit cards using our special secure internet link (Secure Trading). We cannot accept Amex via web payments.

From UK:

Cash (in person at office) or (registered post - advised)

Cheque (made payable to BIS)

From Rest of the World:

US dollar cheque which is payable in the USA only (made payable to BIS).

US dollar notes or sterling currency (registered post – advised).

US or Canadian money orders or cheques payable in sterling at a UK address.

If you instruct an overseas Bank to remit directly to our account. Please first ensure that the sum received by us is not reduced by extra bank charges in transit.

Concessions relating to Payments

The Society is a recognised Charity. Overseas members may be permitted to count the whole of their payments to the Society as tax deductible.

UK taxpayers are reminded that subscriptions to the Society, including publications, can be deducted from income for tax purposes if this can be related to their employment.
