Library Facilities

The Society's specialised space library was completed in 1994 and contains over 3000 books and 4000 reports.

It is open to members Monday - Friday, 10.30 to 15.30 (please call 0207 735 3160 before visiting in case Library is being used for other purposes).
Membership cards will need to be produced.

The library will continue to be open from 17.30-18.50 when there is an evening lecture.

All the books are listed on a database and include NASA Technical Reports, conference publications, press packs, reference publications, contractor reports, technical notes, papers, translations and memorandums; ESA reports.

There is also an interesting collection of nearly 70 space models on top of the bookshelves as well as glass topped display cabinets which features a variety of space-related artifacts and memorabilia. Members are able to loan out books by purchasing a library ticket.

Although pre-booking is not required, please contact us on 020 7735 3160 prior to your arrival in order to facilitate your needs.
